29th January Live chat with Photography Curator

First to host an exclusive video Webinar is Elaine Constantine, NOISE Festival 2014 Curator for Photography. Learn how you can bag a place.

As part of the NOISE Festival 2014, we’ve organised some pretty cool opportunities for some of you lovely NOISE artists. Eight lucky people will get the chance to join a video ‘Webinar’ with one of our wonderful Curators – every month, for the rest of the year. That’s twelve months, twelve Curators, twelve categories with eight of you in each. You do the math; I’m wordier, myself.

The first video webinar up for grabs is for NOISE Festival 2014 Photography Curator, Elaine Constantine!
Elaine is an award- winning photographer, renowned for her positive and colourful portrayal of British youth. Elaine has worked with the likes of Nick Knight, i-D, The Face. Plus most recently her new film and book ‘
Northern Soul’ (as featured in a recent BBC Culture show), which tells the tale of a couple of lads in the 70’s who develop a love for the American Black Soul musical movement, as Elaine herself did growing up in Bury, Greater Manchester.

But what exactly do you do in a webinar? That’s a very good question. Video webinars with NOISE Curators are a way you can get advice and personal feedback on your work.

Even if you don't make the final 8 you can still watch it online so no matter where you are, coffee shop or your own bedroom, you can learn some golden insider tips and creative career advice. This, of course, means that you don’t have to be in the UK, either. The best part is that it’s FREE

So how can you be in with a chance of bagging a place to ask your questions direct to Elaine?

Well, log in to your NOISE ePortfolio, get your best stuff up there and then select a piece of work you would like to submit to the NOISE festival 2014. Hit the big pink ‘submit your work to the festival’ button and you’re good to go!

Deadline for consideration: Wednesday 22nd January 2014
