Our friends at Aesthetica Magazine are in the midst of their 2014 Short Film Festival and they’re inviting submissions from filmmakers who are both innovative and inspirational in their work.

They’re after aspiring and established filmmakers and you can submit films of all genres, from animation to music videos and comedies to documentaries and animations. To be in with a shot at your film being shown at ASFF 2014, read more about the festival and enter here.
Finalists will have their submissions shown at 15 iconic venues in York during the event (6th to 9th November), with additional prizes for both finalists and runners up alike, with a view to show their films to a wider audience at UK film festivals and coverage in Aesthetica magazine and blog. Cash prizes and awards will also be presented on the closing night.
ASFF is a great opportunity to showcase your work to the people who can help you get ahaead and it’s also an excellent learning tool, this year saw representatives from BAFTA, Film 4, Warp and more descend upon York for the event to watch the Official Selection and to lead masterclasses, dispensing crucial industry tips.
