#NOISEfave: Eat Your Kids Illustration

Emily Calland is our #NOISEfave this week, of Eat Your Kids Illustration.

We love her hilarious, colourful illustrations sporting all manners of things, from the cosmos in the belly of a cat to her “figures of hate in positions of vulnerability.” They’re brilliant.

“[I]decided then that I was to abandon any ideas of making "beautiful textiles" and create purely comical and interesting prints.Emily Calland

Emily was one of the artists featured at the Amplify Pop-Up exhibition in Wigan Library – you can see more on this and the other artists featured here. She’s designed prints for the likes of Next, Urban Outfitters and has worked with both BBC and ITV.
