#NOISEfave: Rebecca Wild

We absolutely love Rebecca Wild’s work, here at NOISE!

Describing herself as a scan-alchemist, Rebecca uses scans of brightly coloured fluids and their reactions with one another to create gorgeous marbled artworks. Though her works look abstract, Rebecca believes they represent realism, due to her use of substances “at the very essence of our existence”.

“Using the scanner as both a camera and a canvas, I question the way art is formed and approach the idea of creating art in a new light.” – Rebecca Wild

“Spring is the initial reaction, the bursting of colour as the fluids strive to seperate and grow, and I see it as a reflection of an initial idea.” – Rebecca Wild

We particularly love how choc-full Rebecca’s page is, where she’s utilised almost every aspect of the NOISE ePortfolio from her bio to her previous experience.
