#NOISEfave Zeitgeist Band. World Jazz Day Special!

It’s World Jazz Day so what better way to celebrate than with a great track from NOISE artists Zeitgeist Band

What a funky way to spend the day! A special #NOISEfave today as we listen to “Plancks” from Aleks Podraza’s Zeitgeist Band. The track mixes up and explores time signatures, and kicks off with a heavy bass and some serious piano work.

The time signature of this tune is 33/16, demonstrating the smallest aesthetic measurement of rhythm being added onto the end of two standard 4/4 cycles. It then proceeds to explore the versatility of this time signature. All of the technical jargon aside, this is a very fun tune to play live!

And a very fun one to listen to!
