Led by former NOISE intern Lucy Biddle, the NOISE supported project set off with an international call-out for original postcard designs, inspired by Europe. The brief was simple. No tourist postcards, no restrictions on creative methods, just something inspiring or beautiful from the places you live or work in, on the size of a postcard.

Over 200 postcards were submitted from emerging creatives across Europe, which are then posted to the project’s website. The results were published in a book distributed to independent bookshops across Europe and were shown as part of an exhibition in Wem, Shropshire. Postcards from Europe generated global, creative conversations between emerging European artists.

After a successful launch and positive feedback from the funders, the young collective, made up of four talented young artists and producers, are now looking to tour the exhibition across Europe.
