A night of live music marks the launch of an exciting new collaborative music release, with half the proceeds going to the NOISE Charity!
Date14 December, 2012
‘Collaboration in aid of creativity.’
NOISE Festival are proud to support The Laboratory Project, who, this December, are teaming up underground artists with a brand new team, ethos and motivation towards a fresh release fittingly titled Resonance.
In this shared venture the Laboratory project are bucking the trend of increasing scepticism and disbelief in unsigned musicians by handing over 50% of the profits straight to the artists themselves. They have also kindly committed to re-investing the remaining 50% to us the NOISEfestival.com charity.
This indie driven compilation promises to present some of the great unsung bands from around the country and thrust them into the spotlight both off and on the stage. With a 21 track album release involving Psych, Indie, Blues and reggae, plus a live launch event incorporating 6 of the featured artists at the historic Fac251 venue on the 14th of December, there’s more music on offer than you could ever wish for.
This compilation bookends Britain with Psychedelic offerings from the London based band Sub Couple and Glaswegian duo The New Fabian Society with everything from The Watchmakers to Boy Genius falling in-between. Also contributing are double ‘Exposure To Music’ award winners Turrentine Jones with an exclusive track ‘Della May’ from their forthcoming album release due to come out in February 2013.
Released 31st December 2012
Tickets cost £6 and are available at Piccadilly Records, The Spoon Inn, Chorlton and Factory.
Doors open at 7:30. See the Facebook page ‘Resonance Pre-Release Album Launch Party’ for further information.
