Poppy Stephenson, 22, Bristol, has designed a piece in the style of a public phone-booth. The viewer is encouraged to create artwork with the provided materials but instead of seeing themselves, they see people in other countries. Poppy has placed booths in Manchester, France and Poland which are all connected via live webcam link-ups. "A beautiful piece and a technical feat"� comments Danny Brown.

Situl Patel's 'Swarm' algorithm creates brush stroke animations from images of people moving in front of a web cam. The image produced has an organic painterly effect in real time.

Stuart Wood's 'Pixel Roller' is a handheld digital paint roller that is able to paint images onto a wall directly from a computer. This allows the user to apply any digital graphics or text in one stroke onto surfaces such as walls, floors, ceilings, streets and even grass. Stuart is based in London and studied at RCA. Within 30 days of launching the first fully working prototype, the Pixel Roller attracted more than 150,000 visitors to the Random International website. "This is mind blowing!"says Danny Brown, "when I saw it I thought, I wish I'd invented that; it's a truly revolutionary idea and a fantastic invention"
