NOISE 2006 Curator Choice for Fashion | ||||
Andreas was selected by NOISE Curator Mark Eley as his curators choice. Andreas went on to feature in the NOISE 'Raw Creatives' documentary and had his artwork showcased in the NOISE Urbis exhibition during October 2006. Andreas was also selected to be a fashion assistant during the Steak Zombies fashion happening at the NOISE Wrap Party at 93 Feet East in London.

Since NOISE Festival last year Lauren Clowes has carried on with her passion to design and create clothes. "I like Laurens submission, I think it's really quaint. The photos are beautiful, they are to a professional standard."? - Mark Eley Being Mark Eley's Fashion Curator's Choice gave Lauren the chance to receive more work in the industry and to start her own fashion label based in Manchester, something she regards as a 'wonderful opportunity'. She has recently moved to London and hopes to take the fashion world by storm. From the great reception she received from NOISE and curator Mark Eley, Lauren says she now "has the confidence to go out there and show off my designs to other boutiques." Of NOISE she said; "I'm really glad I entered my work into NOISE as it has given me recognition that I wouldn't have had otherwise. NOISE gives young creative talent a great opportunity to get their work out there for all to see." |

Camille Roman, 22, graduated from Central St Martins, having studied fashion for six years. Her work is inspired by a Utopian idealism, her intention is to create shapes which guide the eye and flatter the body. Mark Eley comments, "This submission needs to be praised and applauded- there's sophistication about it, a high creative standard with a strong individual feel". |
