Hey. I’m an artist based in Manchester, UK. My work is youth focused, street driven with an eye for couture and is inspired by comics, animation and films. I believe in the power of stories, characters and alternative cultures. I earned the nickname '2hands' because I draw with both hands at once. . . I'm not ambidextrous, it's just a thing. I've worked internationally in animation, character design, comics, print, fashion, I paint live at festivals and club nights including Dpercussion, MoorFest and Hit and Run and I worked alongside Antony Wilson as the resident live artist on his final TV series 'The New Friday'. This one time I got invited to a party at The Prime Minister's house. I'm a pretty lucky guy. I grew up travelling the world on cruise ships, reading comic books, skating ledges and rails, watching bootleg anime on VHS and playing beatemups in arcades. Piano is another interest of mine and I studied martial arts for many years but injury has prevented me from training. All these things have had a profound effect on my work and life. As well as watching Gossip Girl and playing Street Fighter 4 I am currently devloping properties for comic books and the theater, collaborating on clothing lines, supporting and working within the rollerblading community with Be-Mag and One Magazine and still trying to be as stuntastic and awesome as possible.

Liquid Serebral
I did this for my friend Liquid Serebral from the Canadian hip-hop group SolivaSpitSociety who was kind enough to ask me to work up an image that would form the backbone of his new website LIQUID SEREBRAL.COM It's designed so that it is essentially 6 panels that scroll from one to another as you click on different buttons - so you get to journey along with Serebral as he goes through town. Check the site to see how it all works. This took me maybe a month, the hi-res file (this is the web-res version for ease of viewing) is literally thousands and thousands of pixels wide and do not even get me started on how stressed the perspective trick got me. I love this to bits now and I'm grateful to Shan for the opportunity to do this...also, the Flash guy who created the website blessed this good so props to him too. Please take the time to listen to Liquid's music on his site cause it's ace and he deserves your attetion. -2hands

Wings
. . . because everybody knows Converse never last. There's a story to this but I'm not gonna tell you. Make up your own mind. It's way more fun. -2Hands

Scene01
Generally I get called a 'hip-hop' artist. Which I guess I kind of deserve because of my recent projects but I've never really gone after that title and I'm not interested in just showcasing one lifestyle or one culture. And I'm not interested in living in just one either. With this in mind I wanted to take some of the techniques normally associated with 'hip-hop' like stencilling and aerosol and apply them to a different subject from a different form of street culture, working without the bright colours I normally use and opting for black and white . . . basically I just really really like sceneXgirls with hair extensions. <and apologies for the most generic title in forever> -2Hands
