SUBMITTED WORK ![]() Liquid Serebral I did this for my friend Liquid Serebral from the Canadian hip-hop group SolivaSpitSociety who was kind enough to ask me to work up an image that would form the backbone of his new website LIQUID SEREBRAL.COM It's designed so that it is essentially 6 panels that scroll from one to another as you click on different buttons - so you get to journey along with Serebral as he goes through town. Check the site to see how it all works. This took me maybe a month, the hi-res file (this is the web-res version for ease of viewing) is literally thousands and thousands of pixels wide and do not even get me started on how stressed the perspective trick got me. I love this to bits now and I'm grateful to Shan for the opportunity to do this...also, the Flash guy who created the website blessed this good so props to him too. Please take the time to listen to Liquid's music on his site cause it's ace and he deserves your attetion. -2hands View Comments | Rate This Work Wings . . . because everybody knows Converse never last. There's a story to this but I'm not gonna tell you. Make up your own mind. It's way more fun. -2Hands ![]() Scene01 Generally I get called a 'hip-hop' artist. Which I guess I kind of deserve because of my recent projects but I've never really gone after that title and I'm not interested in just showcasing one lifestyle or one culture. And I'm not interested in living in just one either. With this in mind I wanted to take some of the techniques normally associated with 'hip-hop' like stencilling and aerosol and apply them to a different subject from a different form of street culture, working without the bright colours I normally use and opting for black and white . . . basically I just really really like sceneXgirls with hair extensions. <and apologies for the most generic title in forever> -2Hands ![]() Andy Tunney interview Mighty Tanaka interviews Andy Tunney, about his work and the urban art scene in Manchester |
