How to get ahead in the creative industries13th February 2010On Saturday February 13th the NOISE Charity publishes the 'How to Get Ahead in the Creative Industry' supplement in The Daily Telegraph across London and the North -West. The four page insert is the result of the EU funded NOISE Project, 'Promoting Young Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship through Non-Formal Learning Paths'. The NOISEfestival.com project focused on Non-Formal Education and the importance of this increasingly popular way of learning, especially in terms of a young person's entry into the Creative Industries. The NOISE Project engaged fifteen young creatives from across the UK to research to discuss their experiences and opinions of Non-Formal Education with an aim to influence policy change in this area. This Saturday's Daily Telegraph supplement is a manifesto for change and a blueprint for the future. Through continued consultation with the young participants and the professionals involved in this NOISE project, the NOISE Charity aims see Non-Formal Education being brought out of the shadows and considered as a valid alternative to formal education when wanting to pursue a creative career.
