In 2010 I set myself a challenge, to transcribe abstract and distorted images and text into a book. This collection of fragments is the result of frantic documentation of a sequential dream over the space of 2years.

Looking and reviewing the information, I have correlated a distorted creative combustion of broken written words and images brimmed with personal energy.

Window is an exhibition of mixed media work created especially for The Eighth Day.

Working with the metaphor of window I have created a visual that stimulates adaptations of messengers and memories.

I am a newly qualified teacher and have had experience teaching Pre-degree Foundation class of 25 students with mixed abilities using specialist delivery in interactive, educational stimuli, teaching the five main pathways in Art and Design. Designed, led and taught art classes for students with a wide spectrum of special and additional needs.

I have worked on private commissions and stocked local galleries and boutiques with my own bespoke work. I have self marketed and sold at acclaimed craft fairs and organised and run workshops, tutorials and events, teaching skills and techniques. I am also a published author and have exhibited internationally and nationally.
