I have been writing, recording and producing my own music for about three years now. Experimenting with different ways to create sound and music, I have used household items to experiment with noise and create the tracks within my portfolio. I also like the use of the voice and harmonizing as I feel you can create a very full sound just using this element. Not only do I create my own music but I also study the concept of sonic art which I came across during my time at arts school. I am planning of undertaking a project whereby I create art just using sound and I also love the idea that this kind of art could be accesible to the blind.

I took part in a seven-week course with Roundhouse, which was taught by employees from BBH. The last week was held at BBH coming up with a campaign to promote a band on the Roundhouse Records label. We learnt a lot about branding and working with a live client. We pitched our campaign to the band, their manager and the record label at the end of the week. Whilst working on this campaign I got back in contact with Tom Drew, a copywriter who I had previously shadowed, as he had moved to BBH.
I worked as an intern for M&C Saatchi London in the accounts and creative departments. I was responsible for research on many of the accounts such as Rimmel and Porsche. When in the creative department I shadowed a senior copywriter, coming up with ideas for the TFL London campaign that was released just before the London Olympics. I also accompanied the creative team to Final Cut studios and was involved in the editing process with the creatives and the director. At the end of my A levels I went on a school trip to New York and organised a meeting with people from the New York offices. I was invited out to lunch and learnt a lot from them about working in the PR industry.

BA (hons) Advertising Degree
Elephant and Castle, London
As a third year student of the BA Advertising degree at University of The Arts London I have learnt many skills in promotion, liaising with clients, planning and pitching. I have studied different types of persuasion, cognitive dissonance theory, attitudes and persuasion types and how to create great copy and visuals that will persuade the intended audience. I have been in many group projects, where we have worked together to create a campaign to promote a product. These have included the use of apps, digital installations, flash mobs, microsites and traditional advertising. I have also worked individually on projects and have received good feedback from tutors and industry professionals on my work. For my Final Major project I am branding and promoting myself as a musician via social media and investigating new innovative ways of doing so, I have also gained an interest in Sonic Art. My dissertation looks into the branding of female artists and how separate the visual from the message can alter the way an audience perceives them. I am also curating my end of year degree show, which includes the branding, advertising, contacting of industry professionals and organising the curation of each individuals project. I am predicted to graduate with a First Class degree.
