Soofiya Chaudry

introduction

Graphic designer, specialising in typography, layout, book design and branding working in and around London.

Typesetting and a good baseline grid is the reason I get out of bed in the morning. Currently, I'm freelancing, doing some sessional teaching/lecturing at Ravensbourne, occasionally guest-speaking at local colleges and working on A Book for Two. Some highlights from the past year include: graduating, setting up own company for freelancing and design work, travelling to New York, Barcelona and Berlin for design conferences and work. Also being featured in the June issue of Computer Arts Magazine. Being accepted onto the MA course at Reading to further research A Book for Two (due to start in Autumn 2014).
